Dr. Benjamin Levine grew up in Monroeville, PA, and earned both his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. After completing a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, he developed a strong interest in endodontics, which motivated him to return to the University of Pittsburgh to complete a two-year specialty residency and earn his Certificate in Endodontics. He went on to further distinguish himself in the field by becoming board certified and earning the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
After several years of practicing in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Levine decided to honor his family’s dental legacy by transforming their longstanding general dental practice into a state-of-the-art endodontic office—Apex Endodontic Specialists. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Levine contributes to the academic community as a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Levine’s exceptional skill and dedication have earned him recognition among his peers, including being named one of Pittsburgh’s top dentists in the field of endodontics by Pittsburgh Magazine.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Levine enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs.
